Read-a-thon Challenge
Story
During these difficult times COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on our fundraising ability for one of the most important initiatives we support – the Innovation Fund grant.
It is thanks to past support from people in the community that we have been able to fund this grant which allows our researchers to conduct ground-breaking research into new areas of GI cancer.
We need your help to keep the Innovation Fund grant alive.
This fundraiser is easy to take on at home and the whole family can join in.
Challenge your family or household to read as many books as they can in a month, while asking friends to sponsor you in your challenge to donate to GI cancer research.
Spend as much time as you can each day reading your chosen book. Make sure you take photos and update your fundraising page with your progress!
Once you raise over $100 we will send your family a GI Cancer Institute t-shirt! This is great to wear in photos to share on your Fundraising Page.
To sign up to a #GutsyChallenge Read-a-thon click ‘Join Team’ above.
We will be with you every step of the way to support your fundraising efforts and to share some great tips to help you reach your target!
Remember to share your unique URL with your family and friends to ask for donations in support of your challenge.
We can’t wait to have you on board! #GutsyChallenge
